The Full Picture.
Nothing Else.
Independent risk consulting for private clients and businesses who expect more than the standard conversation.
The Whole Picture.
Before Anything Else.
The insurance market is organised by product. By panel. By remit. By the specialist role each adviser is appointed to perform. That structure has value. It is how specialisms are built.
But complex clients do not live inside one category. Personal wealth, corporate exposure, international mobility, family protection, succession, and legacy often overlap. LAG Consulting was created for that space. Before a product is discussed, before a placement is made, before the conversation becomes too narrow.
We look at what is in place. What is not. What may have been missed. What deserves closer attention. When our analysis identifies something that requires action, we connect clients with trusted, specialist partners who have the capability to execute. The analysis always comes first.
What Sets Us Apart
Perspective before product.
Your consultant, not a call centre.
Personal, corporate & cross-border.
Cross-border insurance & asset management.
The Work.
Private Client Risk Review
Property across jurisdictions. Yachts. Fine art. Existing life and protection arrangements. We work with private clients whose affairs do not sit neatly within a single policy, provider, or jurisdiction. We look at the whole, document what is in place, and present a clear account of where things stand. Our review records the structure of existing arrangements and maps where exposures sit.
Corporate Risk Review
A business changes. Its risk programme rarely keeps pace. We review what is in place, identify what has changed, and present a clear account of where things stand — gaps, overlaps, and exposures included. Findings are documented and structured for internal presentation where needed.
Continuity Retainer
For clients whose circumstances evolve and who value continuity. A standing arrangement that keeps your wider risk picture organised as your affairs develop. You get a consultant who already knows the context, without having to explain it again from the beginning each time something changes.
Employee Benefits Review
Group health. Corporate life. Key person. Your benefits say more about your company than your careers page. We review what is in place, how it compares to market standards, and whether the structure reflects the workforce it is meant to serve. Findings are benchmarked and structured for HR or board review.
Pre-Acquisition Risk Review
Before acquiring an asset, a business, or a property, the risk landscape it carries deserves a view of its own. We provide that perspective — not as part of the transaction, but separate from it.
Specialist Partner Access
When a matter moves beyond review, we connect clients with trusted, specialist partners suited to the next step. Chosen for capability, discretion, and fit. We remain close to the picture, while authorised partners handle placement or execution where required.
Built for Complexity
HNWI & UHNWI
Your affairs span jurisdictions, structures, and asset classes. Property here, a life policy there, a holding structure somewhere else — each often managed within its own mandate. We look at the whole: what is in place, what has changed, and what sits between moving parts.
Family Offices
Coordinating across a family's advisers is itself a specialism. Risk often sits between the lawyer, the asset manager, the broker, and the wider advisory team. LAG Consulting provides an independent review that maps the full picture, documented and presentable across the family's wider advisory team.
Large Businesses
A risk programme that made sense three years ago may not reflect the business today. Before a board review, acquisition, new market, or significant event, an independent review gives you a documented account of where things stand. Findings are structured for internal presentation.
SMEs
Smaller businesses often grow faster than their arrangements. Renewals become reactive, decisions are made under pressure, and the wider picture can become unclear. We review what is in place, what has changed, and what deserves attention before the next renewal, expansion, or significant decision.
A Considered Approach

In Their Words
Laura identified things in our corporate programme that had gone unquestioned for years. The board now has real visibility over where we stand.
We have assets across three countries. Laura was the first person who looked at the whole picture rather than one policy at a time.
Five years of renewing the same employee benefits without anyone asking whether they still made sense. That changed after one conversation.
Good insurance is invisible. Inadequate insurance only becomes visible when it is too late.
Laura Ann Gracie
Laura has spent over a decade working across insurance, asset management and cross-border risk, in senior roles within internationally regulated financial services businesses in Malta. Her experience spans international private medical, life, protection and corporate benefits, giving her a broad view of how personal, corporate and international arrangements often connect.
Dip CII qualified and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Laura founded LAG Consulting to bring a more considered lens to clients whose affairs do not sit neatly within one product, one provider or one conversation. Her work is grounded in structure, discretion and the ability to see how separate arrangements form part of a wider picture.
LAG Consulting reflects a simple belief: complex affairs deserve clarity before action. The firm exists to bring structure before selection, perspective before product, and clarity before decisions are made.
Clarity
Complex does not have to mean opaque.
Perspective
Experience applied carefully, without noise or assumption.
Discretion
Your affairs remain private. Without exception.
You Might Be Wondering
How does LAG Consulting work alongside my broker?
A broker remains central where cover, advice or placement is required. LAG Consulting works alongside that structure, bringing a wider view of the picture: what is in place, how arrangements connect, what has changed and what deserves attention before the next decision is made.
Do you arrange insurance or place policies?
No. LAG Consulting provides consulting, review and risk analysis. We do not arrange or place policies. Where a matter moves beyond review, we connect clients with trusted specialist partners suited to the next step.
How are fees agreed?
Fees are agreed before any engagement begins. Depending on the scope, this may be a fixed project fee or an ongoing retainer. Where an introduction to a specialist partner results in an introducer fee, this will be disclosed in writing before the introduction is made.
Is LAG Consulting suitable for growing businesses?
Yes. Growing businesses often change faster than their arrangements. New hires, contracts, markets, benefits and obligations can alter the picture quickly. We help SMEs understand what is in place, what has changed and what deserves attention before the next renewal, expansion or significant decision.
What happens during the first conversation?
A private, no-obligation conversation, typically lasting 30 to 45 minutes. We listen to your situation, ask the right questions and give you a clear view of whether and how we can help. No pressure. No jargon.
Why engage a consultant when AI can analyse a policy?
Technology can read a document. It cannot understand the full context around it: the family structure, the business, the jurisdiction, the asset, the adviser relationships or the reason an arrangement was put in place. At this level, insurance is not only a policy question. It is a question of context, structure and consequence. That requires experience, judgement and someone accountable for the view.
